Is the amount of snow in Kyoto unusual? My friend in Tokyo could not go to his work.
I was on Facetime with a friend of me in New Jersey this evening. He showed there was 60 centimeter snow in his garden. In the Netherlands it feels like spring already. I even have seen the first cherry blossoms.

京都の寒さは、いつもどおりの感じです。
昔は、雪が積もる日が、複数回あったようですが、
近年は、積もっても１回か２回です。
特に、うちの近くの南部は１回くらいかな・・・。
だから、もう積もるような雪は降らないと思います。
でも、まだまだ寒いです。(^^;
京都の雪の量は異常か。東京の私の友達は彼の仕事に行くことができなかった。私は今夜、ニュージャージーで私の友人とのFacetimeの上にいた。彼は、60センチメートルの雪が庭にあったことを示した。オランダでは、それは、スプリングのように既に感じる。私はさらに最初の桜の花を見た。
