小赤３匹

昨日の散歩中に通りがかった観賞魚屋さんで購入。

初めに買った２匹の流金が亡くなってからと言うもの、
エビ２匹と石巻貝１匹だけで、寂しかったので。。。

It is a little joke of the teachers and me. We will get an aquarium like yours and take water out of it.

We do a kind of chemical titration with it and say to visitors we measure the gold-concentration.

I do not know if the joke works in Japan. In my language goldfish means fish made of gold.

I can not translate gold very good. I meant the golden-metal

Is in Japanese money the same word for the golden metal?
