After looking at your photo I became curious. It looks so dark in the street. Does the sun set late in Japan, like in the Netherlands? I see in Kyoto the sun sets around 19:15 now. Here the sun sets at 22:00!
There has been a lot of rain here too, but most of it fell at night. We have bright sunshine again now. Does Kyoto now have a rainy season?

お察しのとおり、京都は雨の季節に入っています。
