うれしい買い物

「京都の市電 昭和を歩く」という本が
発売されるのを新聞の広告欄で知って、

半月ほど前に検索したら（その時は、）
ほとんどヒットしなかったので、
近そうなところを当たっている時に
同じ名前の見たこと無い古本が出てきて

表紙の写真が気に入って、状態も良さそうで、
送料合わせて1800円弱だったし、衝動買い。

・・・

実物を見てビックリ。

ごっつい本で、表示価格は5000円。

大きな写真がたくさん載ってて
資料的なものやインタビューとか
大村しげさんをはじめとする京都
らしい執筆者による市電にまつわる
エッセイコーナーなんかもあったり、

この本を企画、編集した人達の
想いがこれでもかというくらい
伝わってくる内容の濃さ。

さすが、”保存版「京都の市電」”

お約束の定点比較写真の”現在”が
35年以上前というのも楽しい。

4月30日に投稿した写真は、京都市において、かつて路面電車が
通っていた所の写真です。

路面電車の線路があった土地を示すコンクリートの標識を撮りました。

京都市交通局のマークが刻印されています。

フリシンゲンからのミデルブルグへの路面電車は第二次世界大戦の開始にあった サービスの唯一の路面電車ライン 。2本の他のラインは1937のまわりに閉鎖された。車によって進んでいるその時、正常になった。ても そこ notで戦争であった で従って、路面電車ラインがする たぶん、また、私達の島の路面電車の歴史へのまったくいくらかの興味があるのでそれが残念なことである'40s.においてやめられる。

Hello Yamazaru-san,

The streetcar from Vlissingen to Middelburg was at the start of World War II the only streetcar line in service. Two other lines were closed down around 1937. At that time traveling by car became normal. So even if there not has been a war, the streetcar line would probably also been discontinued in the '40s. It is a pity, because there is quite some interest in the history of streetcars on our island.

私はある写真を送った 私のWebログの私達のローカルな路面電車である 。路面電車サービスは 1881 年に始まり、第二次世界大戦の終わりに、突然、私達の島の氾濫を持つ 1944 年に終わった。

Hello Yamazaru,

I think this is a better book, then the train book I sent you. I hoped that book had big photo's. It is a pity the street cars disappeared. According the book cover, it was not very long ago.

A century ago there was also a street car line going through my street. It is lately a popular subject, as several photo's surfaced. Unfortunately the line was destroyed by the inundation of our island in 1944. I have seen a photo of a tram stranded in the water, only a few hundred meters from where I live now.
